Welcome to R time

Children

R time is a structured programme for schools that develops positive relationships between children. It does this by creating an environment that supports and enhances good manners, respect, attainment, and citizenship.

How does it achieve this? R time lasts no longer than 20 minutes once a week. It uses 'Random Pairing' in conjunction with interesting, non-threatening and easily achievable activities for children from Nursery to Year 7. The R time approach has been similarly applied to Transition from Primary to Secondary. It also contributes greatly to reduce bullying.

What are the outcomes? Respect, courtesy and good behaviour - Plus the children love it!

Child quote: "Thanks to R time I now have friends I don't even like!"
